1)To date, how have you used the money your division received for K-8 teachers' LwICT professional learning in 2008-09 and 2009-10? The division paid for a Tech consultant, sent three people to Winter Session, some PD time for inservicing/mentoring other teachers.
2) What professional learning is occurring now because of the extra funding that you previously not able to do?
Tech consultant going into the classroom and mentoring teachers and students, spending individual time with teachers going over tools, continuum and assessment practices and liason between parent council, schools and administration.
3) Does your division have any strategies for ongoing professional learning (For example: Professional Learning Community - online, face-to-face, mentors, etc?)
Continue mentoring, using wikis as a resource for teachers, and ongoing work with Tech consultant, training with tools (mimio, usage of mobile labs, troubleshooting).
Have students demonstrate how lCT is being used in the classroom to Administration.
Meeting technology demands of teachers, be it tools, training, or equipment.
Set up a collection of learning examples for teachers to access through the tech consultant or the school division wiki.
4) What successful strategies would you like to recommend to other divisions?
Use wikis as a tool for teachers, students, and parents.
Students mentoring students, in classroom and with others classes, teachers mentoring other teachers.

Once a year.
6) Which grades are reporting on Literacy with ICT?
K-8
7) When does the reporting occur?
March or June
8) What feedback have you received from parents regarding reporting of Literacy with ICT?
Very little feedback.
Some parents did not understand, howver they liked anecdotal comments.
9) In certain circumstances, a child may have more than one teacher. How would/do your teachers report on a child's literacy with ICT in this circumstance? Please discuss with your divisional team and record some possible strategies to address this issue.
Teachers collaborated and made their comments on what they addressed.
10) If there have been changes to your divisional statement of belief on reporting on LwICT, since last year, upload or insert the text below.
